The quote that you gave us is just part of the full quote that I found, yours was just
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"The study of crippled, stunted, immature, and unhealthy specimens can yield only a cripple psychology and a cripple philosophy." - Abraham Maslow
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The one I found though was
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"The study of crippled, stunted, immature, and unhealthy specimens can yield only a cripple psychology and a cripple philosophy. The study of self-actualizing people must be the basis for a more universal science of psychology." - Abraham Maslow
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I do both agree and disagree though with this because of the fact that yes the study of those "self-actualizing people" would help to cover the majority of the people of this world. The research of those "crippled, stunted, immature, and unhealthy specimens" are almost needed more though then the former because those that need Psychology and Philosophy are not the healthy and well minded people. No one goes to a hospital or a physiatrist that is of good mind and body, I have never gone to see a doctor for the express purpose of just I missed him. We need to have the crippled science to help treat the crippled people.
